Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, privately funded art gallery, is a premier modern art venue in Moscow. In 2015, it moved to Gorky Park, where a derelict Soviet-era building was transformed by Dutch architect Rem Koolhaas. The museum hosts diverse exhibitions, lectures, films, and educational programs featuring Russian and international artists. It also offers a cafe and bookstore.
LAB SPACE
Located in the main building, LAB is a minimalist, multipurpose space designed to host and integrate events within the Garage Museum. This versatile area is ideal for workshops, exhibitions, and discussions, providing a dynamic environment that enhances the museum experience. |
ROOFTOP
The rooftop of the Garage Museum, where events are hosted throughout the year in the 220 m² pavilion. During warmer months, the pavilion opens up into an expansive terrace, merging with the museum's roof, forming a 1200 m2 pavilion and terrace combined spacious area.
EDUCATIONAL CENTER
Educational Center - is a separate building located near Garage Museum with 300² open space made from wood.
